While the grandsons and I toured around...Pat and Kim were busy measuring and figuring and lifting and pushing. All 4 logs are now securely fastened and we can start working down in the family room. More pictures to come....but we were so thankful for Pat and everyone's help on this huge project!
This is actually the last log getting pushed into place with the help of the lifts. Still a nerve racking process!! 
The lifts helped do the job but the guys still had to winch them up, hoping they would hold the weight of the 1000 lb logs and not roll off!! Whew!! I had to stay out of the room and keep all little people out of the room...it was way tooooooo scary!
Next day, Pat and Kim worked on getting the last three logs rolled into the family room and up to the 14ft ceiling. We were so thankful to have Pat's help!!
The first Log went up Friday evening Dec 28th, and it took Kim, Pat, Chad and Justin to help get it there!! Lots of figuring and worries, but when it finally was in place we all cheered!!
